Encouraging Creative Problem-Solving Skills for Students of All Ages by Building Interest in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Design.

About Us

The Education Foundation for Architecture, Engineering & Design is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on the transformative power of design thinking and architectural-based education and aims to inspire the next generation. We believe that education is vital, and an architectural curriculum engages students holistically, teaching them to think with their entire brain.

By leveraging the expertise of industry professionals across the area we offer programs, activities, and guest lectures to schools and educational organizations. By working together, we can create more opportunities for students, build awareness of the value of these industries, and help foster a stronger, more vibrant community.

Teachers

Design-thinking is a dynamic, project-based approach that integrates multiple subjects and engages students holistically. Here is some of what we do:

  • Collaborate with Schools/Teachers

  • Provide Speakers from the Profession

  • Lead Design-Thinking Lessons

  • Design Individualized Design-Thinking Curricula

Community

Community events are a vital way to share about architecture-related fields with the public. We actively participate in various local events:

  • Partner with Local Organizations

  • Lead Hands-On Activities

  • Provide Engaging Presentations

  • Sponsor Architecture-Related Events

Students

We work with high school students who are interested in exploring careers in architecture and related fields through the following activities:

  • Securing Job Shadows

  • Scheduling Internships

  • Providing Guest Speakers

  • Leading School Classes

Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Design is knowing which ones to keep.
